The architect and client wanted a distinctive exterior finish that would help the university stand out. While several finish options were explored, including opportunities for cost savings, the project team remained committed to achieving a premium, visually impactful aesthetic.
Vicwest engaged with the architect early in the design process, with the AD Series selected as the basis of design. Working closely with the project team, Vicwest explored a range of finish options to find the right balance of performance, cost and visual impact. Ultimately, the architect and client chose the Fluropon 3-Coat Metallic System to achieve a distinctive, premium exterior finish that would make the building stand out. The Atlantic Canada Vicwest sales team worked closely with the architect and contractor throughout the process to support the vision and bring the desired aesthetic to life.
The project will contribute to a distinctive, contemporary campus environment designed to serve the university community for years to come.
